What a find! Well, I give full credit to my Mum for discovering Annie’s Vegan Treats. I woke up on Easter Sunday morning to discover a plethora of delicious vegan chocolate, locally sourced and handmade in Lincolnshire, the county I live in.

It isn’t the first time I have received these chocolates before. Last Christmas, I received chocolate from Annie’s Vegan Treats, carefully selected by my Mum. I was thrilled to receive them a second time round — this time for Easter!

These chocolates are a perfect gift for friends and family for birthdays, engagements, weddings, and seasonal holidays, whether they are vegan or not! These chocolates are cruelty free so will be suitable for anyone and everyone all year round.

There is such a range of treats available to cater for all taste buds! In my Easter selection, I received a Bunny Pop Chocolate Lolly, Coffee Creams, Cranberry and Hazelnut Bark, Cranberry Orange Bark and a Raspberry and Pistachio Slab (photographed above). All delicious and so flavoursome! Does it count as part of my 5-a-day if fruit is included in chocolate?

Being a vegan myself, it is often difficult to find 100% vegan chocolate, especially vegan chocolate that is locally produced and handmade in the county I live in. How lucky am I to have vegan chocolate so locally sourced, and made with such precision and passion.

With a 5-star rating across the board on Facebook, it is no wonder these chocolates are so delicious.

Jules, owner and founder of Annie’s Vegan Treats is passionate about her business which is obvious to see from the high standard of her chocolates.

The name, Annie’s Vegan Treats, originates from her daughter, Annie Samantha, whose life was sadly cut short after 21 months. Jules said “Annie loved rabbits, her favourite colour was yellow.” This inspired the branding of Annie’s Vegan Treats, with the signature silhouette of a yellow rabbit as the logo; simplistic, meaningful and stunning.

Annie’s Vegan Treats use Royal Mail to deliver all across the UK and are able to send overseas by arrangement. Their packaging is specifically sourced to be kind to the plant with 95% of it being eco-friendly, sustainable and recyclable.

Jules added that “prices are kept as low as possible as we felt it was unfair that anything labelled as ‘vegan’ came with a huge price hike.”
